# §1010. Availability of transcripts

- (a) **Definition of Agency Proceeding.—** In this section, the term “[agency](/usc/5/601.md?p=1) proceeding” has the meaning given the term in [section 551 of this title](/usc/5/551.md).
- (b) **Availability.—** [Agencies](/usc/5/601.md?p=1) and [advisory committees](/usc/5/1001.md?p=2-A) shall make available to any person, at actual cost of duplication, copies of transcripts of any [agency](/usc/5/601.md?p=1) proceeding or [advisory committee](/usc/5/1001.md?p=2-A) meeting.
