# §6310. Limitations on statutory construction


Nothing in this chapter—

- (1) authorizes the [Bureau](/usc/49/6301.md?p=1) to require any other Federal agency to collect data; or
- (2) alters or diminishes the authority of any other officer of the [Department](/usc/49/6301.md?p=2) to collect and disseminate data independently.
