# §6308. Proceeds of data product sales


Notwithstanding [section 3302 of title 31](/usc/31/3302.md), amounts received by the [Bureau](/usc/49/6301.md?p=1) from the sale of data products for necessary expenses incurred may be credited to the Highway Trust Fund (other than the Mass [Transit](/usc/49/5302.md?p=22) Account) for the purpose of reimbursing the [Bureau](/usc/49/6301.md?p=1) for those expenses.
