# §49109. Nonstop flights


An [air carrier](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-2) may not operate an [aircraft](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-6) nonstop in [air transportation](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-5) between [Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport](/usc/49/49103.md?p=5) and another [airport](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-9) that is more than 1,250 statute miles away from [Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport](/usc/49/49103.md?p=5).
