# §47174. Authorization of appropriations


In addition to the amounts authorized to be appropriated under [section 106(k)](/usc/49/106.md?p=k), there is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Transportation, out of the [Airport](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-9) and Airway Trust Fund established under section 9502 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 ([26 U.S.C. 9502](/usc/26/9502.md)), $4,200,000 for fiscal year 2004 and for each fiscal year thereafter to facilitate the timely processing, review, and completion of environmental activities associated with [airport capacity enhancement projects](/usc/49/47175.md?p=1) at [congested airports](/usc/49/47175.md?p=4).
