# §41723. Notice concerning aircraft assembly


The Secretary of Transportation shall require, beginning after the last day of the 18-month period following the date of enactment of this section, an [air carrier](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-2) using an [aircraft](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-6) to provide scheduled passenger [air transportation](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-5) to display a notice, on an information placard available to each passenger on the [aircraft](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-6), that informs the passengers of the nation in which the [aircraft](/usc/49/40102.md?p=a-6) was finally assembled.
