# §11163. Cost availability


As required by the rules of the [Board](/usc/49/10102.md?p=1) governing discovery in [Board](/usc/49/10102.md?p=1) proceedings, [rail carriers](/usc/49/10102.md?p=5) shall make relevant cost data available to shippers, [States](/usc/49/10102.md?p=8), ports, communities, and other interested parties that are a party to a [Board](/usc/49/10102.md?p=1) proceeding in which such data are required.
