# §607. Effective date of chapter


This chapter shall take effect upon the organization of the Commission, except that this section and sections [151](/usc/47/151.md) and [154](/usc/47/154.md) of this title shall take effect July 1, 1934. The Commission shall be deemed to be organized upon such date as four members of the Commission have taken office.
