# §358. Master’s control over operations


The radio installation, the [operators](/usc/47/153.md?p=38-A), the regulation of their watches, the transmission and receipt of messages, and the radio service of the [ship](/usc/47/153.md?p=46-A) except as they may be regulated by law or international agreement, or by rules and regulations made in pursuance thereof, shall in the case of a [ship](/usc/47/153.md?p=46-A) of the [United States](/usc/47/153.md?p=58) be under the supreme control of the master.
