# §3103. Use of reports, documents, and records


The [Secretary](/usc/46/2101.md?p=46) may rely, as evidence of compliance with this subtitle, on—

- (1) reports, documents, and records of other [persons](/usc/46/3701.md?p=3) who have been determined by the [Secretary](/usc/46/2101.md?p=46) to be reliable; and
- (2) other methods the [Secretary](/usc/46/2101.md?p=46) has determined to be reliable.
