# §912. Election


Any [employee](/usc/45/902.md?p=4) who receives any assistance under [section 909](/usc/45/909.md) or [section 911 of this title](/usc/45/911.md) or under an [employee](/usc/45/902.md?p=4) protection agreement entered into under [section 908 of this title](/usc/45/908.md) shall be deemed to waive any [employee](/usc/45/902.md?p=4) protection benefits otherwise available to such [employee](/usc/45/902.md?p=4) under the Bankruptcy Act, subtitle IV of [title 49](/usc/49.md), or any applicable contract or agreement.

The Act was repealed effective Oct. 1, 1979, by Pub. L. 95–598, §§ 401(a), 402(a), Nov. 6, 1978, 92 Stat. 2682, section 101 of which enacted revised Title 11.
