# §1011. Authority of Railroad Retirement Board

- (a) The [Board](/usc/45/1002.md?p=2) may prescribe such regulations as may be necessary to carry out its duties under this chapter.
- (b) In carrying out its duties under this chapter, the [Board](/usc/45/1002.md?p=2) may exercise such of the powers, duties, and remedies provided in subsections (a), (b), and (d) of [section 362 of this title](/usc/45/362.md) as are not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter.
