# §2908. Regulations


Subject to applicable law, the [Archivist](/usc/44/2901.md?p=12) shall promulgate regulations governing the transfer of [records](/usc/44/2901.md?p=1) from the custody of one [executive agency](/usc/44/2901.md?p=13) to that of another.
