# §763. Deposits in Louisiana applicable to resurveys


Such sums as have been or may be deposited for [surveys](/usc/43/31b.md?p=10) in Louisiana by actual settlers, under sections [759](/usc/43/759.md), [760](/usc/43/760.md), and [762](/usc/43/762.md) of this title, may be, in whole or in part, employed in making such resurveys as may be necessary in the discretion of the [Secretary](/usc/43/31b.md?p=7) of the Interior or such officer as he may designate.
