# §390rr. Central Arizona Project


Lands receiving [irrigation water](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=5) pursuant to a [contract](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=1) with the [Secretary](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=11) as authorized under title III of the Colorado River Basin Project Act (82 Stat. 887; [43 U.S.C. 1521](/usc/43/1521.md) et seq.) which are placed under [recordable contract](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=10) shall be eligible to receive [irrigation water](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=5) upon terms and conditions related to pricing established by the [Secretary](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=11) pursuant to Federal reclamation law in effect immediately prior to October 12, 1982, for a period of time not to exceed ten years from the date such lands are capable of being served with [irrigation water](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=5), as determined by the [Secretary](/usc/43/390bb.md?p=11).
