# §390h–12l. Hi-Desert Water District in Yucca Valley, California wastewater collection and reuse facility

- (a) **Authorization—** The [Secretary](/usc/43/31b.md?p=7), in cooperation with the appropriate [State](/usc/43/31b.md?p=8) and local authorities, is authorized to participate in the design, planning, and construction of the Hi-Desert Water District in Yucca Valley, California wastewater collection and reuse facility.
- (b) **Cost share—** The Federal share of the cost of a project described in [subsection (a)](#a) shall not exceed 25 percent of the total cost.
- (c) **Limitation—** The [Secretary](/usc/43/31b.md?p=7) shall not provide funds for the operation or maintenance of a project described in [subsection (a)](#a).
