# §1771. Coordination of applications


Applicants before Federal [departments](/usc/43/1702.md?p=m) and [agencies](/usc/43/1702.md?p=m) other than the [Department](/usc/43/1702.md?p=m) of the Interior or Agriculture seeking a license, certificate, or other authority for a project which involve a [right-of-way](/usc/43/1702.md?p=f) over, upon, under, or through public land or National Forest System lands must simultaneously apply to the [Secretary](/usc/43/1702.md?p=g) concerned for the appropriate authority to use [public lands](/usc/43/1702.md?p=e) or National Forest System lands and submit to the [Secretary](/usc/43/1702.md?p=g) concerned all information furnished to the other Federal [department](/usc/43/1702.md?p=m) or [agency](/usc/43/1702.md?p=m).
