# §9166. Authorization of appropriations


There are authorized to be appropriated to the [Secretary](/usc/42/242q–4.md?p=2) of Commerce, for the use of the [Administrator](/usc/42/9102.md?p=2) in carrying out the provisions of this chapter, not to exceed $3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1981, not to exceed $3,500,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1982, not to exceed $3,500,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1983, not to exceed $480,000 for each of the fiscal years ending September 30, 1984 and September 30, 1985, and not to exceed $630,000 for each of the fiscal years ending September 30, 1986 and September 30, 1987.
