# §8432. Criminal penalties


Any [person](/usc/42/8302.md?p=a-2) who willfully violates any provision of this chapter, or any rule or order thereunder, shall be subject to a fine of not more than $50,000, or to imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, for each [violation](/usc/42/2000e–16a.md?p=c).
