# §8287b. Reports


Each [Federal agency](/usc/42/8287c.md?p=1) shall periodically furnish the [Secretary](/usc/42/8285a.md?p=4) of Energy with full and complete information on its activities under this subchapter, and the [Secretary](/usc/42/8285a.md?p=4) shall include in the report submitted to Congress under section 8260[^1] of this title a description of the progress made by each [Federal agency](/usc/42/8287c.md?p=1) in—

- (1) including the authority provided by this subchapter in its contracting [practices](/usc/42/17061.md?p=19); and
- (2) achieving [energy savings](/usc/42/8287c.md?p=2) under contracts entered into under this subchapter.
