# §8244. Authorization of appropriations


There are authorized to be appropriated to the [Secretary](/usc/42/8241.md?p=6) through fiscal year ending September 30, 1980, to carry out the purposes of this part not to exceed $100,000,000. Funds so appropriated may be transferred by the [Secretary](/usc/42/8241.md?p=6) to any [Federal agency](/usc/42/8241.md?p=1) to the extent necessary to carry out the purposes of [section 8243(a)(3) of this title](/usc/42/8243.md?p=a-3).
