# §7385s–8. Medical benefits


A [covered DOE contractor employee](/usc/42/7385s.md?p=1) shall be furnished medical benefits specified in [section 7384t of this title](/usc/42/7384t.md) for the [covered illness](/usc/42/7385s.md?p=2) to the same extent, and under the same conditions and limitations, as an individual eligible for medical benefits under that section is furnished medical benefits under that section.
