# §7382a. Purpose; designation

- (a) **Purpose—** The purpose of this subchapter is to establish within the Department of Energy a national fellowship program for elementary and [secondary school](/usc/42/7382b.md?p=3) mathematics and science teachers.
- (b) **Designation—** A recipient of a fellowship under this subchapter shall be known as an “Albert Einstein Fellow”.
