# §7381e. Authorization of appropriations


Out of funds authorized to be appropriated for the Office of Science of the [Department](/usc/42/7381d.md?p=2) of Energy in a fiscal year, there are authorized to be appropriated to the [Secretary](/usc/42/7372.md?p=1) for carrying out university research support and other science, mathematics, and engineering education programs authorized by this part and administered by the Office of Science of the [Department](/usc/42/7381d.md?p=2) of Energy, $40,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2027.
