# §7297. Cross references


With respect to any functions transferred by this chapter and exercised after October 1, 1977, reference in any other Federal law to any department, commission, or [agency](/usc/42/8262.md?p=1) or any officer or office the functions of which are so transferred shall be deemed to refer to the [Secretary](/usc/42/7385s.md?p=3), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, or other official or component of the Department in which this chapter vests such functions.
