# §6954. Technology promotion


The [Secretary](/usc/42/242q–4.md?p=2) of Commerce is authorized to evaluate the commercial feasibility of [resource recovery facilities](/usc/42/6903.md?p=24) and to publish the results of such evaluation, and to develop a data base for purposes of assisting [persons](/usc/42/6903.md?p=15) in choosing such a system.
