# §6808. Authorization of appropriations


There are authorized to be appropriated—

- (1) not to exceed $40,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1979 and 1980 to carry out [section 6807 of this title](/usc/42/6807.md) (relating to [State](/usc/42/6802.md?p=6) utility regulatory assistance);
- (2) not to exceed $10,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1979 and 1980 to carry out [section 6805 of this title](/usc/42/6805.md) (relating to [State](/usc/42/6802.md?p=6) offices of consumer services); and
- (3) not to exceed $8,000,000 for the fiscal year 1979, and $10,000,000 for the fiscal year 1980 to carry out [section 6804(1)(B) of this title](/usc/42/6804.md) (relating to innovative rate structures).
