# §6242. Coordination with import quota system


No quantitative restriction on the [importation](/usc/42/6291.md?p=11) of any [petroleum product](/usc/42/6202.md?p=3) into the [United States](/usc/42/6202.md?p=5) imposed by law shall apply to volumes of any such [petroleum product](/usc/42/6202.md?p=3) imported into the [United States](/usc/42/6202.md?p=5) for storage in the [Reserve](/usc/42/6232.md?p=9).
