# §5314. Consultation by Secretary with other Federal departments, etc.


In carrying out the provisions of this chapter including the issuance of regulations, the [Secretary](/usc/42/242q–4.md?p=2) shall consult with other Federal departments and [agencies](/usc/42/8262.md?p=1) administering Federal grant-in-aid programs.
