# §5049. Prohibition of Federal control of educational institution or school system


Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to authorize any department, [agency](/usc/42/8262.md?p=1), officer, or employee of the [United States](/usc/42/5061.md?p=2) to exercise any direction, supervision, or control over the curriculum, program of instruction, administration, or personnel of any education institution or school system.
