# §4101e. Exemption from fees for certain map change requests


Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a requester shall be exempt from submitting a review or processing fee for a request for a [flood](/usc/42/4121.md?p=a-1) insurance rate map change based on a habitat restoration [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) that is funded in whole or in part with Federal or [State](/usc/42/4121.md?p=a-2) funds, including dam removal, culvert redesign or installation, or the installation of fish passage.
