# §3154f. Congressional notification requirements

- (a) **In general—** In the case of a [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) described in [subsection (b)](#b), the [Secretary](/usc/42/3122.md?p=13) shall provide to the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives notice, in accordance with [subsection (c)](#c), of the award of a [grant](/usc/42/3122.md?p=8) for the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) not less than 3 business days before notifying an [eligible recipient](/usc/42/3122.md?p=6-A) of their selection for that award.
- (b) **Projects described—** A [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) referred to in [subsection (a)](#a) is a [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) that the [Secretary](/usc/42/3122.md?p=13) has selected to receive a [grant](/usc/42/3122.md?p=8) administered by the Economic Development Administration in an amount not less than $100,000.
- (c) **Requirements—** A notification under [subsection (a)](#a) shall include—
  - (1) the name of the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2);
  - (2) the name of the applicant;
  - (3) the region in which the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) is to be carried out;
  - (4) the [State](/usc/42/3122.md?p=14) in which the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) is to be carried out;
  - (5) the 1 or more counties or political subdivisions in which the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) is to be carried out;
  - (6) the number of jobs expected to be created or retained as a result of the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2);
  - (7) the estimated date of completion of the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2);
  - (8) the amount of the [grant](/usc/42/3122.md?p=8) awarded;
  - (9) a description of the [project](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2); and
  - (10) any additional information, as determined to be appropriate by the [Secretary](/usc/42/3122.md?p=13).
- (d) **Public availability—** The [Secretary](/usc/42/3122.md?p=13) shall make a notification under [subsection (a)](#a) publicly available not later than 60 days after the date on which the [Secretary](/usc/42/3122.md?p=13) provides the notice.
