# §300ee–21. Evaluations


The [Secretary](/usc/42/201.md?p=c) shall, directly or through grants or contracts, evaluate the [services](/usc/42/201.md?p=a) provided and activities carried out with payments to [States](/usc/42/201.md?p=f) under this part.
