# §280l–2. Prioritization of evaluation by Secretary


The [Secretary](/usc/42/201.md?p=c) shall evaluate, in accordance with this part, all [programs](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) funded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before conducting such an evaluation of privately funded [programs](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) unless an entity with a privately funded wellness [program](/usc/42/274l–1.md?p=4) requests such an evaluation.
