# §2062. Irradiation of materials


The [Commission](/usc/42/2014.md?p=f) and [persons](/usc/42/2014.md?p=s) lawfully producing or utilizing [special nuclear material](/usc/42/2014.md?p=aa) are authorized to expose materials of any kind to the radiation incident to the processes of producing or utilizing [special nuclear material](/usc/42/2014.md?p=aa).
