# §18726. Savings provision


Nothing in this part affects the authority, existing on the day before November 15, 2021, of any other Federal [department](/usc/42/18701.md?p=1) or [agency](/usc/42/8262.md?p=1), including the authority provided to the [Secretary](/usc/42/18701.md?p=3) of Homeland Security and the [Director](/usc/42/11851.md?p=5) of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security [Agency](/usc/42/8262.md?p=1) in title XXII of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ([6 U.S.C. 651](/usc/6/651.md) et seq.).
