# §18443. Eligibility for service of individual currently serving as Administrator of NASA


The individual serving in the position of [Administrator](/usc/42/18302.md?p=1) of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration as of October 11, 2010, comes from civilian life and is therefore eligible to serve in such position, in conformance with [section 20111 of title 51](/usc/51/20111.md).
