The [Administrator](/usc/42/18302.md?p=1) shall coordinate with the [Administrator](/usc/42/18302.md?p=1) of [NOAA](/usc/42/18302.md?p=8) and the [Director](/usc/42/11851.md?p=5) of the United States Geological Survey to establish a formal mechanism that plans, coordinates, and supports the transitioning of [NASA](/usc/42/18302.md?p=6) research findings, assets, and capabilities to [NOAA](/usc/42/18302.md?p=8) operations and United States Geological Survey operations. In defining this mechanism, [NASA](/usc/42/18302.md?p=6) should consider the establishment of a formal or informal Interagency Transition Office. The [Administrator](/usc/42/18302.md?p=1) of [NASA](/usc/42/18302.md?p=6) shall provide an implementation plan for this mechanism to Congress within 90 days after October 11, 2010.
