# §16355. National Laboratory designation


After August 8, 2005, the [Secretary](/usc/42/15801.md?p=4) shall not designate a facility that is not listed in [section 15801(3) of this title](/usc/42/15801.md?p=3) as a [National Laboratory](/usc/42/15801.md?p=3).
