# §15707. Coordination


The [Secretary](/usc/42/242q–4.md?p=2) of Commerce, the [Director](/usc/42/15702.md?p=1) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the [Director](/usc/42/15702.md?p=1) of the Office of Science and Technology Policy and the heads of other Federal departments and [agencies](/usc/42/8262.md?p=1) carrying out activities under this chapter and the statutes amended by this chapter shall work together to ensure that research, technologies, and response techniques are shared among the [programs](/usc/42/15702.md?p=3) authorized in this chapter in order to coordinate the Nation’s efforts to reduce vulnerability to the hazards described in this chapter.
