# §15100. Projects of national significance

- (a) **Study by the Secretary—** The [Secretary](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-4) shall review Federal programs to determine the extent to which such programs facilitate or impede access to, provision of, and funding for [family](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-2-A) support services for [families](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-2-A) of children with disabilities, consistent with the policies described in [section 15091 of this title](/usc/42/15091.md).
- (b) **Projects of national significance—** The [Secretary](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-4) shall make grants or enter into contracts for [projects](/usc/42/13641.md?p=2) of national significance to support the development of national and [State](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-5) policies and [practices](/usc/42/17061.md?p=19) related to the development and implementation, or expansion and enhancement, of [family](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-2-A)-centered and [family](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-2-A)-directed systems of [family](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-2-A) support services for [families](/usc/42/15092.md?p=a-2-A) of children with disabilities.
