# §13260. Effect on other laws

- (a) **In general—** Nothing in this Act or the amendments made by this Act shall be construed to alter, affect, or modify the provisions of the Clean Air Act [[42 U.S.C. 7401](/usc/42/7401.md) et seq.], or regulations issued thereunder.
- (b) **Compliance by alternative fueled vehicles—** [Alternative fueled vehicles](/usc/42/13211.md?p=3-A), whether [dedicated vehicles](/usc/42/13211.md?p=6) or [dual fueled vehicles](/usc/42/13211.md?p=8), and the [alternative fuels](/usc/42/13211.md?p=2) for operating such vehicles, shall comply with requirements of the Clean Air Act [[42 U.S.C. 7401](/usc/42/7401.md) et seq.] applicable to such vehicles and fuels.
