# §10143. Title to material


Delivery, and acceptance by the [Secretary](/usc/42/10101.md?p=20), of any [high-level radioactive waste](/usc/42/10101.md?p=12) or [spent nuclear fuel](/usc/42/10101.md?p=23) for a [repository](/usc/42/10101.md?p=18) constructed under this part shall constitute a transfer to the [Secretary](/usc/42/10101.md?p=20) of title to such waste or spent fuel.
