# §8505. Audit


For the purpose of audit and examination, the Comptroller General shall have access to the books, documents, papers, and other records of—

- (1) the [Committee](/usc/41/8501.md?p=2) and of each central nonprofit agency the [Committee](/usc/41/8501.md?p=2) designates under [section 8503(c) of this title](/usc/41/8503.md?p=c); and
- (2) qualified nonprofit agencies for the [blind](/usc/41/8501.md?p=1) and qualified nonprofit agencies for [other severely disabled](/usc/41/8501.md?p=5) that have sold products or services under this chapter to the extent those books, documents, papers, and other records relate to the activities of the agency in a fiscal year in which a sale was made under this chapter.
