# §6122. Designation of members of the Supreme Court Police


Under the general supervision and direction of the Chief Justice of the [United States](/usc/40/3301.md?p=a-6), the Marshal of the Supreme Court may designate employees of the Supreme Court as members of the Supreme Court Police, without additional compensation.
