# §546. Contractor inventories


Subject to regulations of the Administrator of General Services, an [executive agency](/usc/40/102.md?p=4) may authorize a contractor or subcontractor with the agency to retain or dispose of [contractor inventory](/usc/40/102.md?p=2).
