# §17506. Reduction of storage and disposal costs


The Administrator of General Services shall take such actions as may be necessary to reduce [motor vehicle](/usc/40/17101.md?p=2) storage and disposal costs and to improve the rate of return on [motor vehicle](/usc/40/17101.md?p=2) sales through a program of vehicle reconditioning prior to sale.
