# §2201. No postal equipment or supplies manufactured by convict labor


Except as provided in [chapter 307](/usc/18/chptIII/ch307.md) of title 18, the [Postal Service](/usc/39/102.md?p=1) may not make a contract for the purchase of equipment or supplies to be manufactured by convict labor.
