# §8525. Court actions


If necessary to obtain such assets the [Secretary](/usc/38/101.md?p=1), through the [Secretary](/usc/38/101.md?p=1)’s authorized attorneys, may bring and prosecute appropriate actions at law or other legal proceedings, the costs and expenses thereof to be paid as are other administrative expenses of the [Department](/usc/38/101.md?p=1).
