# §6309. Biennial report to Congress

- (a) **Report Required.—** The [Secretary](/usc/38/101.md?p=1) shall, not later than December 1 of every even-numbered year (beginning in 2008), submit to Congress a report on the [outreach](/usc/38/6301.md?p=b-1) activities carried out by the [Department](/usc/38/101.md?p=1).
- (b) **Content.—** Each report under this section shall include the following:
  - (1) A description of the implementation during the preceding fiscal year of the current biennial plan under [section 6302 of this title](/usc/38/6302.md).
  - (2) Recommendations for the improvement or more effective administration of the [outreach](/usc/38/6301.md?p=b-1) activities of the [Department](/usc/38/101.md?p=1).
